Lab Safety

Baylor University EHS works with researchers and instructors to ensure that laboratories are safe and comply with federal and state regulations. Categories of laboratory safety include:

• Chemical Safety – Information on chemical storage, certain special chemical categories, and waste materials.
• Laboratory Safety – General information applicable to the majority of labs in the department.
• Radiation Safety – Information on ionizing radiation, such as radioactive isotopes and radiation generating machines.
